Restaurant Euskal Etxea, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, has an amazing of selection of delicious pintxos (Basque style tapas). We recently visited family and friends in Spain and Nik &Tina took us out for tapas at this amazing bar. We started the evening with a glass of Txakoli, a Basque sparkling white wine. Then we each took a plate and chose from array of about 30 to 40 different dishes lining the bar space. It wasn’t easy deciding, so we had to make several trips. With each little delicacy we all tried to guess the ingredients then a careful tasting revealed some great surprises. Waiters came around offering hot dishes straight from the kitchen too. There were just too many favorites to list here. You’ll have to go to Barcelona, or come to our Club Party, to try them.
