This wine salt is easy and fun! It makes a beautiful decoration to sprinkle on a white plate with sliced watermelon, sliced heirloom tomatoes or blistered padron peppers. Make with a dark red wine like Bokisch Graciano.
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup coarse sea salt (Kosher salt)
  • 2-3 tsp Bokisch Graciano
Instructions
  1. Mix the wine with the salt.
  2. Spread on a plate and let dry (about 24 hrs)
  3. Sprinkle on melon or use as decorative finishing salt.
Notes
This wine salt doesn't really taste like wine, but it's purple color is so beautiful!
