Hot Spiced Albariño Cider

Hot Spiced Albariño Cider

Prep time:  10 mins

Cook time:  15 mins

Total time:  25 mins

Serves: 8-10

Ingredients
  • 25oz Fresh Apple Juice (fresh pressed or store bought)
  • 1 bottle Bokisch Albariño
  • 5 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 8oz Simple Syrup
  • 5oz Lemon Juice
  • Sprinkle of nutmeg
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1 whole apple, chopped
  • 1 whole lemon, quartered
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Once at a boil, reduce to low heat and let simmer 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add more sugar or lemon to adjust to your taste.
  4. Rim your mug: Combine cinnamon sugar and black walnut bitters in a bowl.
  5. Dip the rim of your mug in simple syrup, then dip in the powdered mixture, let your rim dry.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and apple wedge.
