Sambuca Sandia (Watermelon)

Recipe: Sambuca Sandía

Summary: Sandía means watermelon in Spanish! Sambuca can be used to marinate sliced strawberries with ground pepper for a delicious salad! Thanks goes to my sis-in-law for this wonderful recipe!

Ingredients

  • Watermelon
  • Sambuca (Italian Liquor of Elderberry and Anise)
  • Dark Chocolate

Instructions

  1. Cut watermelon into chunks (squares)
  2. Marinate in a generous amount of Sambuca
  3. Serve with shaved dark chocolate sprinkles with a toothpick
