Plat Miro – Fresh Anchovy Starter

Recipe: Plat Miro

Summary: A fancy looking starter that is quick and easy.

Ingredients

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Mixed Olives of your choice (Arbequinas, Picholine, Kalamata)
  • Olive Tapenade
  • Boquerónes (Anchovies)
  • Pimentón Dulce (Spanish Paprika)

Instructions

  1. Plate on a Square White Ceramic Dish
  2. Drizzle a thin layer of Olive oil
  3. Place 4-6 Olives in one corner
  4. Place a teaspoon of Olive Tapenade in opposite corner
  5. Place 2 or 3 Boquerones diagonally across center
  6. Make a design with dots or squiggly lines with the paprika to resemble a painting by Catalan Artist Joan Miró
